Did you know that we welcomed our 4th baby into the crazy Maunder tribe on March 19th 2021? Our first little girl, Hadley.
I am officially insanely outnumbered! If one kiddo isn’t asking me for a snack or to help them reach a game from the top of their cupboard another is needing me to help them get dressed. Lord knows having my hands free to enjoy a good cup of tea is few and far between with a new baby in your arms and a tribe of other mini humans.
As this was my 4th time on the newborn merry-go-round I wanted to be prepared, I wanted to find a product that would free up my hands to allow me to be there with my kiddos when they needed but also allow me to give the new baby plenty of mummy time, rather than have to be put down constantly.
Guess what I found? THE best carrier I have ever owned and with the 3 previous kiddos I’ve gone through my fair share of baby carriers. I honestly want to shout about this carrier from the rooftops…and so I am going to!

#1 - Keeps Baby Close To Me
One of the main issues I always encountered with many of the prior baby carriers we used was that they never kept baby’s head nice and close to my chest. Sure baby’s lower body was snug but their shoulders, head and neck were always bobbing around. Not with this carrier! I LOVE that when Hadley is in the carrier she is snug against me, her head is not wobbling around, it supports her entire body. This keeps her so much happier. She can hear my heart beat, enjoy my warmth and sleep soundly knowing she’s with her mummy.
#2 - Easy To Get On
This is a game changer. The best way for me to describe putting on the Winter Konny Baby Carrier is that it is like a putting on a sweater. Just pop your arms through the gaps and your head through the top hole and pull on. It honestly takes as long to put on as putting on your sweater. When you have a million mini humans all with their own requests, a business to run and dinner to make you know any time saving product is worth its weight in gold. I don’t have 15 minutes to wrap 20 yards of fabric in a sequence I can’t get right. I needed something I could grab and throw on in less than a minute.
