I want you to love the entire experience, not just the end product,
because that’s what you deserve.
The best way I can ensure that is to give you the heads up on what your getting into
so you can better make a decision on if you think we’re a great match.
I do things a little differently.
How do we do that?
LET ME EXPLAIN HOW WE PULL IT OFF
Although I can take gorgeous photos by placing you in a fall orchard or
in front of a beautiful sunset on a beach, it’s just not my vibe.
Unless it’s yours.
I believe your photos should reflect you as much as possible.
So yes this is a maternity photoshoot but the
photos should hold so much more depth, so much more story.
That is my vision.
We incorporate as much of your likes and interests into the shoot as possible.
Do you love to dance together?
Enjoy hot coco around a bonfire?
Have a favourite trail you always walk together?
Is a giant Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream your idea of a good date?
Whatever you love to do I want us to do it and FYI,
everything is fair game.
Want to go up to your family cottage and jump in the lake?
Want to hike to the top of Dundas Peak?
Go paddle boarding?
Or maybe you just want to chill at home, cuddled up in your kitchen cooking together?

Funny thing, it turns out it's pretty important we are a good fit for one another.
I want you to have the best possible experience and would 100% prefer you opt for another photographer in order for you to get exactly that. The experience you have with your photographer heavily affects how you feel about your photos at the end. I'm not trying to butter you up or trick you into booking up with me. My goal is that we are both shouting from the rooftops and doing happy dances in our mom leggings at home about working together, that's what you deserve from your photographer.
We’re about to become friends for life!
I am not a vendor and you are not my client.
I know it sounds a little cheese worthy but I honestly look to connect with my couples on a much more meaningful level.
We will have so much fun on the shoot exploring your favourite place or enjoying your favourite indulgence
whilst getting to know each other and snapping some killer shots.
I stay connected with my couples for years, returning to capture many milestones and it’s just pretty awesome.
There’ll be no cheese.
I’m not going to be getting you to look at the camera and smile. It’s just not what I’m about.
I’ll be looking to have you interacting with each other and with your beautiful growing bump.
Don’t worry I won’t leave you hanging, of course I’ll give you guidance for what to do and
how to cozy up for all the cute and intimate shots.
They’ll just be all focused on creating connection, emotion and reactions.
I basically want you loved up, laughing and loving on each other the entire time.
You’ll still look like you.
Editing is amazing and yes I edit your photos. I’m sure you’ve checked out my maternity work by now and got a good sense of my style.
After your session I will be working hard to edit them into works of art.
I edit your photos for tone, exposure, contrast and light skin touch ups, like spot removals.
I do not over edit.
My goal is to create a cohesive album of gorgeous photos that look like you, that capture you just as you are.
