Does it get more picturesque for a fall backdrop than this spot in Bronte Creek Provincial Park? The changing trees, long wild grass and flower fields split by a country track, I mean come on, it’s fall heaven for photography and just perfect for Aubrey’s outdoor maternity session.

This was my first time out to Bronte Creek Provincial Park, which is out in Oakville, and it didn’t disappoint. Aubrey and I were running this maternity shoot at the end of October, when the guarantee of the gorgeous fall leaves has very much passed us by. We were however determined to find somewhere that would deliver fall in all it’s glory for us and Bronte Creek came through for sure.

The height of the grass and wildflowers (I don’t know their real names) were just breathtaking. It was one of my favourite things to hide them amongst it all and sneak around taking photos of her bump and their connection in between the branches. It gives all the feels of intimacy and privacy, like they were just there alone, don’t you think?

I am so grateful that Ontario offers up so many beautiful Provincial Parks within an hour(ish) of Toronto. Having lived and initially launched my photography business in Toronto the majority of my couples reside there but are seeking to escape the urban playground and have their photo shoot be complemented with a forest, wild field or trail type backdrop.

We never have to head far to find exactly what they’re looking for.
