Oh those tiny little toes, don’t you just want to pop them in your hand and admire how precious and small they are? Little Nina was a dreamboat during her in-home lifestyle newborn session and it allowed me to capture these little details with ease. More often than not baby’s' legs are going 101 mph in all directions when I’m trying to get these shots and it becomes a game of rapid fire with the camera to secure a good one. But not for Nina, she just nailed it and laid them there on the bed perfectly for me to snap away.
Also if you book up your lifestyle newborn photo shoot with me and ask me ‘what should I wear’ from now on I think my sole answer is going to be cream, cream and more cream. Doesn’t it just look so warm and cozy in the photos? It’s a pretty timeless colour too. 20 years from now I don’t think you could ever regret these style choices.
On a different note, as a mum of 3 myself I don’t know why so much newborn stuff comes in cream and white when in reality all us mumma’s know that it need to all be black and brown. However I am a sucker for a baby fresh out of the bath, smelling like johnsons powder and dressed in a crisp white onesie. Gets me everytime.
